O Governo Federal está se mobilizando para enfrentar o aumento da microcefalia no país e o combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti. A sua participação é imprescindível para que o Brasil consiga erradicar o mosquito começando por sua casa: não deixe água parada na sua residência, condomínio e locais de trabalho, isto vai ajudar a interromper o ciclo do mosquito Aedes aegypti que passa do estágio de larva à fase adulta em apenas uma semana!<p>Observe as bandejas da geladeira, os bebedouros de água, os bueiros. Mantenha as calhas limpas, deixe as garrafas sempre viradas, tampe os tonéis e caixas d’água e mantenha as lixeiras bem fechadas. Na sua residência utilize telas em janelas e portas, use roupas compridas – calças e blusas – e, se vestir roupas que deixem áreas do corpo expostas, aplique repelente nessas áreas.</p><p>Toda a sociedade precisa se mobilizar no combate ao mosquito e uma das formas de se organizar é através da criação e participação em comitês populares. Quando o foco do mosquito for detectado e não for eliminado pelos moradores de um determinado local, a secretaria Municipal de Saúde deve ser acionada.</p>

O Brasil passa por uma grave emergência de saúde pública que pode afetar uma geração de crianças e o futuro do país. O mosquito da dengue ficou mais forte e agora também transmite chikungunya e o vírus zika, que pode causar microcefalia em bebês. <p>“A única forma que temos de controlar essa epidemia é destruindo todos os potenciais criadouros do mosquito. Dois terços dos criadouros estão dentro das residências. Por isso, precisamos que toda a sociedade se mobilize, caso contrário, não vamos ter sucesso”, declarou o ministro da Saúde, Marcelo Castro.</p><p>A presidenta Dilma Rousseff disse que o Brasil precisa se mobilizar para vencer a luta contra o mosquito Aedes aegypti. “Não vamos ganhar a luta se ficarmos de braços cruzados (...). Vamos demonstrar que o povo brasileiro é capaz de ganhar essa guerra”, afirmou a presidenta.</p>
