O objetivo principal é nivelar a compreensão dos participantes sobre os atendimentos oferecidos na instituição para as mulheres e seus filhos vítimas da violência doméstica. O evento foi organizado pela Coordenadoria Municipal de Políticas Públicas Para as Mulheres (CMPPM), pela Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social (Semas) e Casa Abrigo para Mulheres Vítimas de
Violência.</SPAN></SPAN>

<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> A coordenadora municipal da CMPPM, Mara Regina, representou o prefeito Roberto Sobrinho no ato e destacou que, "esta casa é uma resposta da vontade política do prefeito em concretizar condições para a redução do índice de violência contra as mulheres", disse durante a abertura.</SPAN></SPAN>

A instituição faz parte de uma rede de atendimento que está interligada a outras instituições.</SPAN></SPAN>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> Como a proposta do seminário é divulgar os serviços da Casa Abrigo e quais os caminhos para ser atendido, foram convidados representantes dos poderes públicos estadual e municipal; OnG,s; polícias Militar e Civil; faculdades; comércio; fundações; associações entre outros.</SPAN></SPAN>
<P style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> O seminário foi realizado no auditório do Tribunal de Justiça e teve a participação da vereadora Epifânia Barbosa, da secretária municipal de Educação, Maria de Fátima, da delegada da Delegacia da Mulher, Edna Mara de Souza e das palestrantes Maria de Lourdes Dantas Alves, assistente social; Ana Rosa Garcia Pinto, coordenadora da Casa Abrigo Mãe da Mata e Renata Correia, assessora técnica da secretaria especial de Políticas para as Mulheres.</SPAN></SPAN>

"A violência contra a mulher é histórica e cultural, com reflexos nas crianças e adolescentes, independentemente de cor, etnia, religião, nacionalidade, opção sexual ou condição social e atinge principalmente mulheres jovens em idade reprodutiva", destacou Mara Regina.</SPAN></SPAN>
