Segundo o Mapa da Violência elaborado pelo Instituto Sangari, em parceria com o Ministério da Justiça, o Paraná é o terceiro estado em homicídios femininos. Nesse estado, 6,3 mulheres são mortas em cada grupo de 100 mil. Em Piraquara, região metropolitana de Curitiba, mais de 24 mulheres são mortas para cada 100 mil.<o:p style="MARGIN: 0px"></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
