<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A ministra-chefe do Ministério da Secretaria de Políticas para as Mulheres, Eleonora Menicucci, afirmou que a promoção da igualdade de gênero começa em casa. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Segundo ela, a família, e principalmente as mães, têm um papel fundamental na formação de uma sociedade mais inclusiva.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><B><FONT FACE="Arial">Porto</FONT></B></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">"Dentro de casa começa também com as mulheres não superprotegerem os filhos sejam eles homens ou mulheres. E deixaram eles crescerem, criarem asas e voarem, um dia eles acham um porto, onde eles sintam segurança."</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A ministra fez a afirmação, nesta entrevista à Rádio ONU, logo após um discurso de comemoração dos 30 anos da Comissão das Nações Unidas para Eliminação de Todas as Formas de Discriminação a Mulheres, Cedaw.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">O grupo é presidido pela professora brasileira, Sílvia Pimentel. Para a ministra Eleonora Menicucci, existe uma mudança de comportamento que tem levado mais igualdade entre homens e mulheres, principalmente na geração dos filhos dela.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><B><FONT FACE="Arial">Trocar Fraldas</FONT></B></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">"A geração deles já lida com o mundo doméstico de forma diferenciada do que a minha geração lidou. Os homens trocam fraldas, dão mamadeira, acordam à noite. Eu tenho convicção de que a igualdade começa dentro de casa. Não adianta você falar no palanque em igualdade, se esta igualdade não existe dentro de casa."</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Ainda na entrevista, a ministra Eleonora Menicucci afirmou que as mulheres precisam estar mais presentes também no Congreso Nacional e em parlamentos locais para ajudar a promover a agenda dos direitos femininos.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A reunião da Cedaw, na sede da ONU, deve terminar em 27 de julho.</FONT></P>
