<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">As</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> de São Carlos que sofrem algum tipo de violência podem ser atendidas pelo Centro de Referência da Mulher, serviço da Prefeitura de São Carlos. Este equipamento, além de proteger as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> em situação de violência, previne, promove e assegura os direitos em geral desse público.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">O centro foi implantado a partir de um convênio entre a Prefeitura e o Governo Federal, por meio da</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">Secretaria de Políticas para as mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> da Presidência da República. Atualmente no Brasil há apenas 188 centros como esse.</FONT><B></B></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">De acordo com a chefe da Divisão de Políticas para as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">, da Secretaria Municipal de Cidadania e Assistência Social, Raquel Auxiliadora, somente em 2012 já foram atendidas 205</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> de São Carlos. "Mensalmente atendemos cerca de 40</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> e, desde 2001, quando o serviço foi criado, já foram atendidas 1.147</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">", complementa a chefe da Divisão. Destas</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">, 230 foram encaminhadas para a Casa Abrigo "Gravelina Terezinha Lemes", de caráter sigiloso, também mantida pela Prefeitura atua na atenção, acolhimento e no enfrentamento às diferentes formas de violência contra as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">. O local realiza atendimento psicossocial e oferece abrigo às</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> e seus filhos menores de 18 anos, quando os mesmos correm risco de morte.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">Centro - O Centro de Referência da Mulher também mantém um cadastro atualizado das pessoas que atende e, com base em dados do atendimento, é possível afirmar que a violência contra as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> ocorre em todas as regiões de São Carlos.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">Para Raquel Auxiliadora, isso confirma as pesquisas nacionais que apontam que a violência contra as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> acontece em todas as classes sociais, graus de escolaridade e idades.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">O centro oferece ainda formação de agentes públicos, materiais para pesquisa e informações, espaço para reuniões, organização e articulação de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">, com sala e oficinas de inclusão digital.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">Com base no atendimento às</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> em situação de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">, há o fortalecimento, articulação e encaminhamentos para a rede de atendimento em geral de São Carlos, gerando dados sobre a violência na cidade.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">Grupo de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> - Outra ação desenvolvida pelo Centro de Referência da Mulher é o Grupo de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">, espaço aberto para todas as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS"> com o objetivo de fortalecê-las na luta contra as desigualdades existentes. De acordo com Raquel, o grupo é realizado diante das demandas sugeridas pelas próprias</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial Unicode MS">. "Ainda há vagas e forneceremos vale transporte e se alguma mulher precisar trazer os filhos não haverá problema", completa. O grupo acontece todas as quintas-feiras das 14h às 16h.</FONT></P>
