<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> contra a mulher e a</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">discriminação</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">, no Amazonas, é mais acentuada entre</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> afrodescendentes e indígenas. A afirmação foi feita ontem pela presidente da Associação Afrodescendente e Indígena do Amazonas, Elizoneide Rodrigues, na Assembleia Legislativa do Estado (ALE-AM), durante a sessão especial de comemoração aos seis anos de vigência da</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">Lei Maria da Penha</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">. Dos 24 deputados da ALE-AM, apenas três, Ricardo Nicolau (PSD), Fausto Souza (PSD) e José Ricardo (PT) estiveram rapidamente no evento. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A deputada Vera Lúcia Castelo Branco (PTB) não compareceu à sessão proposta pela deputada Conceição Sampaio (PP). Cerca de 500 pessoas participaram do encontro. Segundo Elizoneide Rodrigues, a</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">Lei Maria da Penha</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> tem contribuído para punir os agressores e os crimes contra as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">, mas mesmo assim ainda é grande a violência praticada contra as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres negras</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> e indígenas no Amazonas. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">"O número de agressões físicas pelos maridos ou companheiros e a</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">discriminação</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> chegam a atingir até 80% desse segmento. Muitas dessas</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres negras</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> e de etnias indígenas têm vergonha de denunciar pela falta de informação sobre as leis e os direitos que elas têm, já que muitas delas que são analfabetas, ainda estão à margem da sociedade e praticamente não foram alcançadas pelas políticas públicas", afirmou a dirigente. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Parceria </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A deputada Conceição Sampaio (PP) destacou a parceria da Secretaria Nacional de Política para as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> com o Ministério da Previdência para aplicação da ação regressiva, medida em que o agressor ressarcirá todo o investimento feito pelo Governo em defesa da mulher vítima de violência. "Muita gente imaginou que com a lei haveria diminuição desses casos, mas nós entendemos que os índices continuam subindo porque agora as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> estão com coragem para denunciar", afirmou a parlamentar. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">No ano passado, mais de 57 mil</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> sofreram algum tipo de agressão física ou psicológica no Amazonas, de acordo com dados da Secretaria Estadual de Assistência Social (Seas). Até fevereiro deste ano, 8 mil</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> registraram casos de agressão. "Somos mais de R$ 1,3 milhão de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> no Estado. Registramos em 2011 57.588 casos de agressão. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Os crimes de maior incidência são lesão corporal, ameaças, maus tratos, estupros e homicídios. Tivemos 107 registros de mortes em 2011", disse a secretária-executiva da Seas, Graça Prola. A senadora e candidata à prefeita de Manaus, Vanessa Grazziotin (PCdoB) e as vereadoras Socorro Sampaio (PP) e Lúcia Antony (PCdoB), também candidatas à reeleição, participaram do evento. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Vanessa lamenta ausência </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A senadora e candidata à Prefeitura de Manaus, Vanessa Grazziotin (PCdoB), lamentou ontem a ausência dos deputados estaduais na sessão especial em homenagem aos seis anos da</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">Lei Maria da Penha</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">. "A lei é importante porque não visa somente a punição do agressor, mas também a reabilitação e recomposição da família. Infelizmente, tivemos a ausência da maioria dos deputados. No Senado, eu fiquei muito feliz porque tivemos a participação de vários senadores", afirmou Vanessa. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A vereadora Lúcia Antony (PCdoB) disse que o índice de violência contra a mulher ainda é alto. "Precisamos encarar de frente um problema que não é jurídico, mas cultural", defendeu a parlamentar. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Evento ignorado </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">O presidente da Assembleia Legislativa do Estado, Ricardo Nicolau (PSD), abriu a sessão de homenagem à</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">Lei Maria da Penha</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">, que foi marcada pela ausência de 83% dos membros da Casa. Depois de se pronunciar, o parlamentar deixou o plenário alegando que viajaria para Tabatinga e Benjamim Constant, na região do Alto Solimões. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">O deputado estadual Fausto Souza (PSD) ficou dez minutos no plenário e se retirou. Já o deputado estadual José Ricardo Wendling (PT) chegou no final da solenidade e alegou que não tinha sido avisado pelo cerimonial e nem pela assessoria da deputada Conceição Sampaio (PP). Disse que somente ontem pela manhã tomou conhecimento do evento. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">"Não sabia desse evento e estava em outro compromisso. Quando soube vim correndo pra cá pra participar. Existe um problema de comunicação para convidar os parlamentares para determinados eventos", criticou o deputado estadual. </FONT></P>
