<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">O Ministério Público do Estado do Acre (MP/AC) realizou uma pesquisa inédita sobre o atendimento dispensado às</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> que são vítimas de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> em Rio Branco. De acordo com a 13ª Promotoria Criminal de Rio Branco, Especializada no Combate à</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> e Familiar, o levantamento foi feito em função de inúmeras reclamações relacionadas à ineficácia, mau atendimento e casos de revitimização verificados nos órgãos que compõem a rede de proteção. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">A pesquisa foi realizada entre junho e julho por meio de aplicação de questionários junto aos profissionais e às</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial"> vítimas. Constatou-se que, embora a rede de proteção esteja formada, os serviços prestados ainda não funcionam como deveriam, fazendo com que as vítimas muitas vezes fiquem sem resposta para o seu problema. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Foram entrevistados 382 profissionais que atuam na Delegacia da Mulher, Polícia Militar, Hospital de Urgência e Emergência (HUERB), Maternidade Bárbara Heliodora, Instituto Médico Legal (IML), Defensoria Pública, Vara de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">, Ministério Público, Secretaria de Política das</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Arial">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Arial">, casas de apoio, centros de referência em assistência social, entre outros órgãos que atendem diretamente às vítimas dessa forma de violência.</FONT></P>
