<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Cerca de 90 detentos da Penitenciária Nelson Hungria, na cidade de Contagem, região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte, realizam uma rebelião no pavilhão 1 do complexo. A confusão teria começado nesta manhã, por volta das 9h, e dois funcionários são mantidos reféns pelos presidiários. O complexo, que tem capacidade para 1.664 presos, hoje abriga 1.970.</FONT></P>

<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Segundo a Subsecretaria de Administração Prisional (Suapi), uma professora e um agente penitenciário foram rendidos em uma sala de aula dentro da unidade. O presídio é o mesmo onde estão o goleiro Bruno Fernandes, Macarrão e Bola, que respondem pela morte de Eliza Samudio. A Suapi informou que o motim não foi no pavilhão deles. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Agentes do Comando de Operações Especiais da Suapi (COPE) isolaram o pavilhão 1, onde começou o tumulto. Por volta de 12h30, o Grupo de Ações Táticas da Polícia Militar (Gate) chegou ao local, para dar apoio na negociação da libertação dos reféns.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial">Um gabinete de crise foi montado no local, com a presença de autoridades da Suapi, Polícia Militar e Polícia Civil. Ainda segundo o órgão, o líder o do motim foi identificado como Daniel Augusto Cypriano, de 29 anos, conhecido pelos apelidos "Carioca" e "Snap". Ele tem seis condenações: cinco por roubo e um por homicídio.</FONT></P>
