<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Com olhar triste, tom de voz baixo, Jakeline Rodrigues da Silva, de 20 anos, se tornou inimiga do espelho. A dona de casa teve 73% do corpo queimado depois que o marido Nilson Pereira dos Santos, de 33 anos, jogou gasolina e ateou fogo em seu corpo. A agressão ocorreu no distrito de Jacy-Paraná, a 80 quilômetros de Porto Velho, em outubro do ano passado. A mulher faz fisioterapia duas vezes na semana, pois teve os movimentos dos braços comprometidos e sofre com dores constantes. Nilson permanece preso. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Jakeline mostra com angústia as partes do corpo queimado. O cabelo foi cortado curto, pois também foi atingido. A pele em recuperação gera desconfortos, como coceiras. Apesar de tudo, a mulher comemora a vida. "Fiquei dois meses internada no Hospital de Base [em Porto Velho], mas graças a Deus estou viva", ressalta. Atualmente Jakeline mora com a família, em Ariquemes (RO). </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">A dona de casa conta que saiu de Ariquemes para morar com Nilson em Jacy-Paraná. Depois de oito meses de convivência, o casal discutiu e Jakeline pediu para voltar à casa da família. Ela embarcou num táxi com as malas, mas Nilson a seguiu com uma motocicleta. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">"Ele jogou a moto na frente do táxi e ameaçou o taxista, que teve que me levar de volta a casa onde morávamos. A gente brigava, mas ele nunca me agrediu; sempre aparentou ser uma pessoa tranquila, mas nesse dia ele surtou", lembra. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Ao chegar à residência, Jakeline estava assustada com o comportamento do marido que ameaçava jogar gasolina nas malas. A mulher lembra que estava no fundo do quintal, quando sentiu algo gelado em seu corpo. "Foi tudo muito rápido; ele jogou gasolina em mim e ateou fogo. Corri desesperada, molhei o cabelo no tanque e alguns colegas me envolveram numa toalha", relata. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Jakeline teve queimaduras de 1º, 2º e 3º graus, que atingiram os braços, tronco, nádegas e coxas. Ao falar sobre o ex-marido, é enfática: "Eu quero distância dele e quero que ele pague pelo que fez comigo". </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Agora Jakeline planeja o futuro. "Quero voltar às aulas, pois parei de estudar na 5º série. Quero arrumar um emprego e recomeçar minha vida", diz. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Nilson Pereira dos Santos foi indiciado por tentativa de homicídio e pode ser condenado até 30 anos de prisão. Ainda não há data para o julgamento</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">. De acordo com o Tribunal de Justiça de Rondônia, Nilson responde por outros crimes de lesão corporal e</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">violência doméstica</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">.</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT></P>
