<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">A participação feminina no Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA) cresceu 240% nos últimos três anos anos.</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> De acordo com a Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab), o envolvimento das</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> no programa que promove o desenvolvimento do meio rural subiu de 11,5 mil em 2009 para 39,3 mil no ano passado. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Ao contrário de outros setores produtivos, em que aremuneração feminina costuma ser inferior a dos homens, na modalidade Doação Smultânea do APP, as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> recebem em média R$ 4.211, contra a média geral do programa em todo país de R$ 4.152. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">O balanço da Conab aponta, ainda, que</FONT><B></B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">o número de projetos exclusivamente femininos também cresceu cerca de 30%</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">. Se em 2010 apenas 347</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> desenvolviam 20 propostas contempladas no PAA, em 2012 esse número saltou para 572, resultando em 26 iniciativas.</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Desafios</FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Apesar do crescimento, a participação feminina no PAA não chega à metade dos contemplados pelo programa.</FONT><B></B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Em média, as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> representam 34% dos beneficiados.</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"></FONT><B></B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Entre os quilombolas a situação não segue a tendência nacional. Nesse grupo, as</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> são mais ativas, com participação que chega a 57%.</FONT><B></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Para garantir maior participação das</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Trabalhadoras rurais</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> nos projetos que estimulam o desenvolvimento daagricultura familiar, o governo federal tornou obrigatória a participação de pelo menos 40% de</FONT><B> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">mulheres</FONT></B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman"> em cada iniciativa da modalidade de Compra da Agricultura Familiar com Doação Simultânea. Para a modalidade Formação de Estoques pela Agricultura Familiar, a cota mínima exigida é de 30%. </FONT></P>
