<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">A Mobilização Nacional de Prevenção e Testagem de Sífilis (doença sexualmente transmissível) começou nesta segunda-feira (1º) e vai até o próximo domingo (7) em todo o país. De acordo com o Ministério da Saúde, a campanha tem o objetivo de conscientizar as pessoas sobre a importância do diagnóstico precoce da doença. Segundo boletim epidemiológico divulgado pelo ministério, em 2011 foram registrados 14 mil casos de sifilis. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Por meio do Fique Sabendo (mobilização de incentivo ao teste de aids), a população terá acesso ao teste rápido de sífilis durante toda a semana. Nos casos positivos, as pessoas terão de exames complementares em laboratórios. Até agora, dos 26 estados, 20 solicitaram ao Ministério da Saúde 128.740 testes rápidos para sífilis. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Em 2011 e 2012, foram capacitados 1.031 profissionais em todo o Brasil para atuar no atendimento às pessoas nos testes rápidos do exame de sífilis. Eles estão capacitando nos estados mais profissionais de saúde para ajudar na aplicação dos testes. </FONT></P>
<P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">De acordo com o Ministério da Saúde, em 2011 foram distribuídos a estados e municípios, 31.500 testes para o diagnóstico da doença. Em 2012, o número cresceu 35 vezes, foi para 1,1 milhão de exames. </FONT></P>
